The Creole people of SW Louisiana live life to it’s fullest: they work hard and they play hard. The driving dance music called Zydeco is their creation, and they would be proud of the way it is performed by JJ’s Zydeco Paydirt. Featuring a line-up of button-box accordion, rubboard, guitar, bass and drums, JJ’s Zydeco Paydirt has been bringing zydeco to dance halls, bars, and stages of the Upper Midwest for over 10 years.
The Tarnished Halos serve up a blistering stew that’s equal parts Cash and Clash—roots rock and rockabilly rave-up in equal measure with a heaping helping of garage band psychedelica on the side. Organic, homegrown rock ‘n roll from the driftless region of southwestern Wisconsin!
Finally, we’re excited about our coalition with Good Shepherd Lutheran Church where we will be holding a gospel service at 10:15 on Sunday morning. A church service featuring musicians from the Festival. It should be a wonderful end to the weekend.
